“I was a guest at a comic convention about a year ago, and one challenge I often face is being asked to do sketches on the spot. I could refuse, but it’s generally expected of a guest artist—and it can be lucrative. I discovered that doing remarques—small, quickly done drawings used to personalize a signed print—had become a popular option. In comic circles, these drawings are typically just the head of a chosen character. Perfect for me!" (A few examples: Black Knight, Medusa, Hel, and Magneto.)
